I started this business with nothing. I was living in a hostel, sleeping on a broken bed, with a vision board above me and a belief bigger than my circumstances. I had no savings, no backup plan, and no one opening doors for me. Just a deep knowing that I was not meant to stay small, and that my life was going to amount to more than the room I was sleeping in.

That vision board became my roadmap. Every image on it represented the life I was determined to build. A life of purpose, impact, and freedom. From that one room, I began. One treatment, one client, one belief at a time. What started as a single treatment bed has now grown into It Girl Sculpt, a multi award winning body contouring and lymphatic wellness brand and academy recognised across the United Kingdom.

My name is Robyn Carter, and this journey has never just been business for me. It has been deeply personal. I came into the body sculpting industry searching for answers, not just for my clients but for myself. I had lived through nervous system dysregulation. I knew what it felt like to hold stress, trauma, and survival mode inside the body. And I quickly realised that the industry was only teaching half the story.

The training I received gave me tools, but it did not give me support. I finished my courses feeling capable but alone, with techniques that addressed the surface but ignored what was happening underneath. I watched women do everything right. The treatments, the diets, the discipline. And still they felt bloated, inflamed, disconnected, and stuck. Still they carried tension in places that no machine could reach. Still they left sessions looking different but feeling the same.

I knew there had to be more. So within my first year in business, I stopped waiting for someone else to create the answer and I built it myself. The It Girl Sculpt Method was born from a refusal to work against the body and a commitment to working with it. No fluff. No generic protocols. No one size fits all approach. Just a real, customisable method that is lymphatic and nervous system led, backed by science, and designed around the woman in front of me.

This method is not about following a generic routine. It is about learning how to assess the body, understanding what to look for, and knowing why certain techniques are sequenced in a particular order. Every movement, every sequence, every decision is intentional. It is the science behind the sculpt. When you understand the body, the results follow.

This method changed everything. It changed my treatments. It changed my results. It changed the way women felt when they got off the bed. Word began to spread. Clients were not just seeing changes in their shape, they were feeling lighter, calmer, more like themselves again. They were finally releasing what they had been holding onto for years. And I knew I had to share this with more than just the women who walked through my door.

Within our first year, that method and those techniques became award winning. In 2024 we won the Nationally Rising Star Award. In 2025 we went on to win Best Body Contouring Nationally. Two national awards in two years, not because we followed the crowd, but because we dared to do this differently.

I became a qualified Vagus Nerve Practitioner because I wanted to go deeper. I did not want to only reshape women externally. I wanted to help them regulate internally, restore safety in their nervous system, and create lasting change from the inside out. That is what sets this work apart. It is not just sculpting. It is recalibration.

Because I did not get the support I needed after my own training, I made it my mission to make sure no student of mine ever felt the same way. I built the academy I wish I had. One that teaches the technical, the scientific, the energetic, and the entrepreneurial. One that holds you before, during, and after your qualification. One that treats you like a future professional, not just another number through the door.

Today, I have had the privilege of inspiring thousands of women across the UK. Women who once believed they were stuck. Women who thought their bodies had stopped responding. Women who walked into my studio carrying years of stress and walked out remembering what it felt like to be at home in themselves again. That is the real work. That is the real result.
